Library 3d model avcon december

Have you ever wanted to turn an image in your mind into a 3D object you can hold in your hand? What about the desire to create the perfect cosplay or outfit accessory from reference pictures and a touch of creativity? With the technology behind 3D printing all of this and more is possible.

Adelaide's Anime and Video Game Festival (AVCon), in conjunction with Adelaide City Libraries, is running an Introduction to 3D Modelling program. During the workshop you will be introduced to 3D modelling, but also the techniques and ideas behind turning that object into a piece of art through polishing and painting your printed design.

This interactive workshop will be taught by Piltover City Customs. With over five years' experience, Piltover City Customs expertise has seen his projects achieve attention through the nation's cosplay tournaments. Most recently he competed with Team South Australia in Blizzard's Overwatch Cosplay championships.

This event is recommended for ages 13 and up.
