Adelaide’s iconic University Footbridge had become a beacon for romance with lovers attaching pad-locks with engraved messages to the bridge and then dropping the keys into the Torrens River.
The Love Knot artwork located near the bridge, has been installed to enable this romantic ritual and keep the integrity of the bridge.
The Love Knot was launched 14 February 2018, Valentine's Day.
