Terrazzo Tree

Terrazzo Tree was launched on 28 July 2016 to commemorate 175 Years of Council in the city of Adelaide, 1840 - 2015.

The artists, not wanting to choose just one moment in time of the city’s 175 years to celebrate, chose the approach of including these moments in a visual representation of a timeline like a family tree.

The tree design has 175 branch ends, one for each year of the Council's existence.
