City of Music mural

Dave Court

In 2015 Adelaide became a designated UNESCO City of Music, and is the only Australian city with this honour. The artist Dave Court’s aim for this project was to highlight the excellence, diversity and cultural history of Adelaide as a City of Music and to give the city a sense of pride about our UNESCO designation.

Court actively sort our Adelaide musicians to hear their stories to incorporate into this mural.

The City of Music mural is the biggest in the city and the project was created in partnership with Music SA, City of Adelaide, Music Development Office and UNESCO. It is best viewed from Morphett Street.
