The Royal Hotel was at 65 Hindley Street. This photograph is of Hindley Street looking west from Leigh Street. The Royal is the third building down. Established in 1847 the Royal Hotel traded until 1921. From 1871 to 1877 the licensee was Adelaide Amelia Clark. The building has been demolished.
