At 107 Flinders Street the hotel was established in 1849 and ceased trading in 1956. The building has been demolished.

'SUPPLIED LIQUOR AT 6.4 P.M.
Alexander George Hillwood and his wife. Myrtle Annie Violia Hillwood joint licensees of the London Inn Hotel. Flinders street, City, were each fined £2/10/ with costs by Mr. Muirhead, P.M., in the Adelaide Police Court today for having unlawfully supplied liquor at their hotel at 6.4 p.m. on June 29. Mr. E. Povey for the Hillwoods applied for and was granted a certificate of triviality. For having at the same time unlawfully obtained liquor at the hotel, Henry Francis Murphy, unemployed of Daly Street Adelaide, and Ronald Wiltshire Sharpe, engineer, of Farrant Street, Prospect were each fined £5 reduced to £1 with 10' costs. Mr. L. B. Mathews appeared for Murphy and Sharpe.'
