Coffee spots in Adelaide

Take a break from making your own cup of coffee at home, and reconnect with your local by treating yourself to a barista-brewed cuppa. You never have to look far to find a coffee fix in Adelaide. Many cafes source and blend their beans exclusively, then roast and grind them in-house to ensure maximum freshness and taste.

Here are our some of our favourites.

Part Time Lover

Pilgrim Lane, Adelaide

For all day great vibes, music, and coffee, Part Time Lover is the place to go. Beautifully designed with sleek lines and curves, the coffee isn't too bad either! Located in Pilgrim Lane, this funky little eatery is the perfect place to enjoy your hot drink, and people-watch.

161 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide

A local favourite in North Adelaide, The Flying Fig keeps to the lines of famous Jewish delicatessens and a simple philosophy - to make most of the menu items themselves, from smoking pastrami and pickling, to their own soft drinks. A sustainable and local-first deli, The Flying Fig keeps its patrons happy and caffeinated with their blend of Colombian and Ethiopian beans.

Cibo Espresso

Various locations around Adelaide and North Adelaide

“Cibo” means ‘food’ in Italian but has come to mean ‘coffee’ in Adelaide.

Cibo Espresso was founded in Adelaide by four gents who wanted to bring the Italian café experience to life here. And it sure came to life! From humble beginnings in Rundle Street in 2000, they now have 11 locations across the city centre and North Adelaide, another 19 throughout South Australia and are expanding interstate.

Bici Espresso

259 Hutt Street, Adelaide

Situated on leafy Hutt Street, Bici Espresso is the perfect pitstop for a caffeinated pick-me-up. Bici Espresso has amassed a loyal following using Manfredi beans. A favourite among cyclists, roll up on two wheels and find a spot out the front to lap up some sunshine.

Coffee Branch

32 Leigh St, Adelaide

Coffee Branch is somewhat of an institution with Adelaide’s city workers who zombie walk up from the train station in the morning and transform into functioning humans after their Coffee Branch fix. The place is small, but it’s big on flavour!

Food Lore

MOD.  and 217 Hindley Street, Adelaide

Located inside the future-focused MOD. Museum on North Terrace, the coffee at Food Lore is out of this world!
